Manchester - Not feeling well the atmosphere at Manchester United today. After defeat at the hands of Stoke City, they've had to face the match against Chelsea. Inevitably, the 'Red Devils' required to win in the game.


United defeated Stoke 0-2 in a match that took place on Saturday (26/12) ago. The loss left United failed to win in five matches in the Premier League or the last seven games in all competitions.

Their position was dropped. Of which was in fourth place standings, Michael Carrick et al. is now in sixth position. They bypassed by Tottenham and Crystal Palace.

In such conditions, they've had to face Chelsea at Old Trafford on Monday (28/12). Carrick said, if it can beat the Blues, United's confidence will return.

"In football, things can change quickly. Today, everything is tough and will be painful for a few days," said Carrick told MUTV.

"What we need to do is keep the head upright for Monday. Everything can change quickly. If we can win convincingly, confidence will return."

"I hope we can rise from the win," said Carrick.

Chelsea failed to win on Saturday. Entertaining Watford, the team now dibesut by Guus Hiddink was 2-2. In fact, Chelsea had trailed 1-2 from Watford.
