Siloam Home at Karak Pahang

On 26th June 2011, a group of GOLD members spend their Sunday morning at Rumah Siloam. It is a home of 18 teenagers and adults with intellectual disabilities living together as a family headed by gutsy Ms Lim Saw Gaik, assisted by 5 dedicated supporting staff.
Siloam Home is situated at Kg Lengkong, about 8 kilometers from Karak Town in Pahang. The intellectual disable persons here work on a farmland of 7 acres, planted with lime and roselle plants, fruit trees such as mangosteen, jackfruits, durians, pineapples, etc.
They also manage a self catered homestay called Siloam Poustinia, situated at the bank of Sg Poh, which can accommodate 20 persons.
